Refund Policy

1. Overview

At ContextSync, we want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This policy outlines our refund terms for Pro subscriptions.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

New subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase. This applies to:

  • First-time Pro subscribers
  • Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly plans

To request a refund within this period, contact us at support@yangqing.one with your account email and reason for cancellation.

2.2 Renewal Refunds

Automatic renewals are not eligible for refunds unless:

  • You cancelled before the renewal date but were still charged
  • There was a billing error on our end

2.3 No Refund Situations

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • After the 14-day guarantee period has passed
  • For partial subscription periods
  • If your account has been terminated for Terms of Service violations
  • For downgrade differences (e.g., downgrading from Yearly to Monthly)

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email support@yangqing.one
  2. Include your account email address
  3. Provide the transaction ID (from your receipt)
  4. Let us know why you'd like a refund (optional, but helps us improve)

We'll respond within 2 business days.

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method
  • You'll receive a confirmation email once processed
  • Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer

5. Subscription Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until then.

Refund: A refund returns your payment and immediately terminates Pro access. If you want to continue using Pro until the end of your billing period, cancel instead of requesting a refund.

6. Plan Changes

If you switch between Pro plans:

  • Upgrading: You'll be charged the prorated difference immediately
  • Downgrading: The new rate takes effect at your next billing date
  • Plan changes do not qualify for refunds

7. Exceptional Circumstances

We may consider refund requests outside our standard policy in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Extended service outages
  • Technical issues preventing use of the service
  • Billing errors

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We're committed to resolving issues directly and chargebacks can delay the resolution process. Accounts associated with fraudulent chargebacks may be permanently suspended.

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
